How to be an Effective Role Model for the Next Gen

“You can’t be what you can’t see”, is a saying we are all familiar with. Unfortunately, due to the IT gender gap, girls have very few opportunities to meet female role models in technical roles. In this interactive workshop we will discuss the latest insights from scientific research on the root causes of the IT gender gap and explore what it takes to be an effective role model.

You’ll also practice what we preach: by the end of the workshop you will have done several speed date rounds in which you have presented yourself as a role model.
