Roseann Chu
Roseann Chu is currently the Head of Digital Innovation & AI for the Global Manufacturing Supply Global Quality business function at Takeda.
In this role, she orchestrates the development and execution of strategies, experimentation, and research to transform existing processes. By leveraging emerging capabilities and technologies, she drives the maturation of digital innovation within the organisation. In 2021, she designed and implemented machine translation for converting documents from one language to another for use internally.
Prior to Takeda, Roseann spent more than 15 years at American Express. Renowned for her deep passion for data, she transcended into data analytics, leveraging her ability to transform information into actionable insights. She was part of the team who built a new business division within American Express that partnered with companies across the advertising ecosystem to deliver personalisation services and data products.
She is deeply committed to promoting DE&I initiatives and strives to cultivate a culture of inclusivity and equality, recognising the importance of diverse perspectives. Roseann graduated from Boston University School of Management, concentrating in Finance. In her spare time, she enjoys challenging herself with yoga and baking.
