I'm Lisa de Ruiter, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at GloPros—an AI-powered hiring platform that's transforming how companies connect with professionals worldwide. With a background in IT recruitment and a transition into tech product development, my career has consistently focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to empower recruiters rather than replace them. I’ve made it my mission to promote and implement ethical hiring practices within the hiring process.

What does the Leading the Digital Revolution theme mean to you?
As a founder, I recognize that while we've made significant strides, there's still progress to be made in achieving full representation for women in tech. However, the past few years have illuminated the path forward through the achievements of leaders like Vidya Peters and Melanie Perkins.
Vidya Peters, now CEO of DataSnipper, has demonstrated how deep industry expertise combined with strategic vision can drive a company to global success. Under her leadership, DataSnipper has expanded its presence in the U.S. and Asia, secured significant funding, and achieved unicorn status.
Similarly, Melanie Perkins, co-founder and CEO of Canva, transformed a simple idea into a global design platform valued at over $25 billion. Her journey from a university student to leading one of the world's most user-friendly design platforms exemplifies how determination and innovation can break barriers.
These examples serve as powerful reminders that with vision, resilience, and support, women can lead transformative change in the tech industry. Their stories inspire me and reinforce the belief that anything is possible.

What is your biggest prediction for 2025 for technology?
My prediction for 2025 is without a doubt the rise of Agentic AI. Unlike traditional AI, which operates based on predefined rules, Agentic AI leverages advanced techniques like reinforcement learning and deep neural networks to adapt dynamically, optimize procedures, and engage in complex behaviors with minimal human oversight.
In the recruitment industry, this means AI agents will not only screen resumes but also autonomously manage entire hiring workflows. They'll identify skill gaps, personalize candidate outreach, and even conduct initial interviews, all while continuously learning and improving from each interaction between candidate and hiring manager.
Therefore, my prediction for 2025 is twofold: Agentic AI will become integral to business operations, transforming processes with unprecedented efficiency; simultaneously, transparency will emerge as the new currency in tech, removing the black box of their AI systems and integrating AI more deeply into our daily lives.
