Hi Stefanie, thanks so much for taking the time to speak with us! Firstly, please introduce yourself and tell us a little bit more about you and your career to date!
Hi, I’m Stefanie Moskal, Head of IT Infrastructure within Lidl Netherlands. Throughout the past decade, I lead teams through significant organizational and digital transformations across various roles. What truly excites me is bringing bright minds together, creating a space where we can learn from each other's experiences and build something truly innovative. For me, the idea of "it can't be done" simply isn't an option – I'm all about finding creative solutions and making things happen!
What are you looking forward to at European Women in Technology?
I'm really excited about meeting some amazing and inspiring women who share a passion for technology! I'm looking forward to connecting, chatting about the latest tech trends, and sharing our experiences – it's always valuable to learn from each other's journeys.
What does the Leading the Digital Revolution theme mean to you?
For me, "Leading the Digital Revolution" is so much more than just adopting technology! It's about enthusiastically embracing new technologies and proactively diving in. This proactive approach to action and leadership means we get to chart our own course and not just be carried along. We become innovative thinkers, developing fresh solutions and creating new value for the business. It's about taking the reins and shaping the future with a positive and forward-thinking attitude!
What can attendees expect from your session?
I'll share some insights into how I've been guiding my team through a challenging digital transformation. I'll take you along on my journey and give you some practical tips on what truly makes a difference. My goal is to help you feel confident in leading your own team through any change that comes your way. Because at the end of the day, it's not just about the technology – it's all about the people on your team.
What is your biggest prediction for 2025 for technology?
In my assessment, Generative AI (GenAI) will become deeply integrated into our daily lives, taking on a central role akin to a personal assistant. The increasing use of platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini, often as an alternative to traditional Google searches, underscores this trend. GenAI significantly simplifies access to information, the creation of visual content, and answering simple questions. A key advantage is the time saved, which provides people with more freedom for private interests and family activities.
Register for your place to join Stefanie for her session 'Leading Through Change and Difficult Digital Transformation Journeys' at European Women in Technology on 25 - 26 June!
