Dr. Usha Jagannathan is a recognized leader in Responsible AI, currently leading AI Products at the IEEE Standards Association. With a background in AI innovation at McKinsey, she brings deep expertise in building ethical, trustworthy AI systems aligned with global regulatory frameworks such as NIST and the EU AI Act. Usha is passionate about bridging the gap between emerging AI technologies and real-world compliance, helping enterprise teams design AI agents that are both impactful and responsible. She has mentored over 1,000 young professionals into tech careers and was honored as AI & Data Science Leader of the Year 2024 by WomenTech. In 2025, she was named a finalist for Trailblazer of the Year by Women in AI. At EWIT, she leads a hands-on session empowering participants to bring back practical, compliance-ready AI practices to their organizations; so innovation is not only bold, but grounded in trust, responsibility, and enterprise-scale readiness.
