I am a Principal Consultant and Strategic Innovation Director, with experience for over 30 years in different roles and market areas like ‘High tech industry’, ‘(e)Health’ and ‘Smart Mobility’. 

In those functions, I initiated and orchestrated innovative programs together with front runners from industry, governments and knowledge institutes in order to achieve impactful innovations and system solutions together.

As Director of TNO’s Science and Technology Office, I give direction to TNO’s long term Science and Technology Strategy including TNO’s Exploratory Research Programs. I do this by investigating and understanding what drives industries and governments, where new challenges and opportunities arise and connecting these with the knowledge and technologies across the breadth of TNO's working area.

My personal drive is to solve complex problems by unraveling them in manageable chunks and by making connections between parties, people, knowledge, and ambitions.  My qualities lie in identifying new opportunities, motivating stakeholders and realizing innovations. My way of working is characterized by drive, involvement, creativity and focus on people. This in combination with a structured approach with strong focus on results.
