Miriam is a software engineer currently working in authorisation and authentication at Kraken Technologies. A career changer with a degree in Chemistry and a background in Client Success, she moved into software engineering through a secondment, taking on a new coding language with no prior experience. She's driven by curiosity and a constant desire to understand how things work. With a passion for learning and a tendency to want to know a bit about everything, she thrives in environments where she can explore and grow through doing.

Outside of tech, Miriam is a passionate crafter. She spends her time knitting, crocheting, and spinning yarn — or, as she likes to call it, “natural fibre engineering.”
