Tiarma started her career in brain research and switched to tech when discovering the fine trade of application development.

After some years as a software developer, she became a trainer, and got promoted to Chief Technical Officer at Low-code Academy.

At Low-code Academy, she combines knowledge on cognitive enhancement and software development, to create a product where people learn low-code development with high quality.

Due to the hybrid nature of this product, students get more dedicated coaching compared to classroom training. While still being scalable and enabling companies and organisations to educate more and more developers, in-house, worldwide!

In the past, Tiarma has been involved with projects to educate people with different study backgrounds, ethnicities, gender, and ages.

Her mission is to educate and empower all types of people to contribute to the creation of technology.

Fun Fact: Before switching to tech, Tiarma was planning to start a women’s martial arts gym in Jamaica.
