Careers are increasingly long and they’re played out against the backdrop of the accelerating digital transformation of work. Learning agility, adaptability and personal resilience are necessary capabilities to survive and succeed. Staying in the game is tough, and even more so for women, who pay lasting penalties for childbearing and caring duties and continue to bear the effects of discrimination throughout their careers. And yet, successful women are all around us. Against this backdrop, how do we set ourselves up to ensure fulfilling careers in the tech sector?
In this session, Cristina Monteiro, ASML’s CHRO, will draw out the lessons and insights learned from 3 successful ASML women, reflecting different parts of the ASML value chain, and representing early career, middle and senior career stages. They will discuss their own adaptation through the digital transformation that has changed their work, share the enabling factors in their success so far/at different stages, and present strategies for career stage navigation in the tech context. They’ll also share their personal predictions for the future of work, and how workplaces need to shift to really work for everyone.
