IMPORTANT TRAVEL UPDATE
Prior to the Event (20–23 June 2025)
In celebration of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary on 21 June 2025, a substantial portion of the A10 ring road will be closed from the evening of Friday, 20 June, until the morning of Monday, 23 June. While the municipality will implement alternative routes to access both the city and RAI Amsterdam, travellers should anticipate increased congestion.
Please note that access to RAI Amsterdam via train and metro will remain unaffected and is strongly recommended during this period.
During the Event (24–26 June 2025)
The NATO Summit will take place in The Hague from 24 to 26 June 2025, which may temporarily impact air traffic, certain roadways, and result in increased congestion at Schiphol Airport. While Schiphol Airport will remain operational, a reduced number of regular flights is expected due to the arrival of international delegations.
Attendees are advised to confirm flight schedules with their airlines in advance and allow additional time for travel. Public transport within Amsterdam, including train, metro, and taxi services, will remain available but may experience higher passenger volumes.

Getting to the Venue
By Train
The RAI has its ‘own’ station, RAI Amsterdam which is located a stone’s throw from the RAI complex and is easy to reach from anywhere in the Netherlands. When you leave the station follow the signs for RAI Amsterdam. Check the latest train information before departure
By Eurostar
Eurostar now runs a direct service from London St Pancras International to Amsterdam Centraal - twice a day on weekdays and once a day on weekends. The journey takes just 3hrs 41 mins to get from city centre to city centre with free wi-fi offered onboard and a power socket at every seat. By Taxi
Every taxi company can bring you to RAI Amsterdam and will drop you off as close as possible to the entrance of the event. For logistical reasons, we only allow TCA taxis on the premises to pick up visitors. At some events the TCA taxis are already waiting at the entrance of the event. If there are no taxis waiting, the reception desk can call one for you. If you would like to book one online, please click here.
If you would like to use another taxi, then the pickup point will be outside the RAI area.
By Bus
Metro 52 will take you from Amsterdam Centraal Station to RAI Amsterdam (Europaplein station) in just eight minutes and stops in front of the RAI complex.
From Amstel Station you can reach us by taking Metro 51 to the RAI station or bus 62 (stop Europaplein). Metro 50 operates the route between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Gein, and also stops at the RAI station.

By coach
Alternatively, if you have organised a coach for your group, coaches can usually park in P6. Simply follow the signs marked P-RAI 6. Some events attract a large number of buses. If this is the case, there will be signs on the Europaboulevard which indicate the route coaches can follow to park. You can let us know you are arriving by coach via raiparking@rai.nl.
By Plane
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is located a 15-minutes from RAI Amsterdam whether you travel by car, train, taxi or bus.
